The Board has begun work to meet this need with a 98 unit apartment building that is currently under construction. The building will be ready for occupancy early next year.​ ​ And while new affordable housing is a good start at confronting issues of our growing city, there are other important concerns that need to be addressed as well. ​ The completion of city owned services at the industrial and commercial properties that were acquired by the city over the past three years is necessary in order to prepare the lands for sale.
